Our Story
Wrapper’s Delight, LLC is 100% inspired by my family.
My love for creating intentional moments of kindness comes from some of my favorite childhood memories—especially those shared with family during the holidays. My grandmother is most likely the true source of my love for gifting. When I was young, she had a special way of making me feel like the bond we shared was something sacred and unique. She would hide little “gifts” around the house and whisper that she had put something special aside just for me—and not to tell anyone. It was our little secret, and it made me feel like I was her favorite.
It wasn’t until after she passed away that I learned she had shared some version of that same secret with my siblings and cousins—her own quiet way of making each of us feel seen, loved, and special. What a beautiful gift to leave behind.
With that same influence, I fell in love with wrapping presents—probably around the age of seven. I was blessed to grow up next door to my grandparents, aunts, and cousins. We truly were a village. My aunts cared for me and my siblings as if we were their own. They loved shopping and buying gifts… but the plot twist is how much they hated wrapping them.
One Christmas, I volunteered to wrap their gifts—and the rest, as they say, is history. Wrapping became my holiday “job,” and it paid well, thanks to my grandmother, who made sure they paid me to “keep me encouraged.”
Like many things, that season passed. My early wrapping career was cut short after a few years, once inexpensive and convenient gift bags replaced traditional wrapping. Fast forward to 2019, when a casual conversation with my cousin about the lack of professional gift-wrapping services in Charlotte, NC sparked the creation of Wrapper’s Delight, LLC.
Growing up, I often heard my pastor—who was also my aunt—say, “Love is what it does.” That phrase stayed with me. As Wrapper’s Delight evolved, I adopted the tagline “Gift with love, purpose, and personality.”
LOVE, because 1 Corinthians 16:14 reminds us to “let all that you do be done in love.”
PURPOSE, because gift-giving should be intentional.
PERSONALITY, because gifting is deeply personal—it should leave a lasting impression and strengthen the connection between the giver and the receiver.
Through Wrapper’s Delight, I am often reminded of Proverbs 18:16: “A person’s gift makes room for them and brings them before great people.” I am truly grateful to be part of the gifting experiences of so many individuals and organizations throughout the Charlotte area.
As I continue this journey, sharing my gifts through the gifts of others, I pray that my passion and commitment to quality will inspire my children, my niece, and my nephews to dream big, embrace their creativity and uniqueness, and discover their own ways of bringing joy and kindness into the world.
